Description
The Belkin WeMo Switch and WeMo Motion Kit gives you wireless Keep watch over of your home appliances and electronics, turning devices of your choice on or off as soon as movement is detected. The sensor plugs into an outlet and detects motion up to 10 feet away. It then sends a wireless signal to the WeMo Switch to turn the connected device either on or off. Download the free WeMo app to any Apple (iOS 5 or higher) or Android (4.0 or higher) device to program a light to turn on when you walk into the house or a fan to turn off when you leave.

WeMo Motion Turns Electronic Devices On/Off
The WeMo Switch and WeMo Motion Kit makes it easy to set schedules for home appliances and electronics and turn devices on and off remotely. The sensor detects movement up to 10 feet away and wirelessly signals the WeMo Switch to turn the connected device on or off, depending on your preference. The sensor’s 6-foot cord lets you place it in the optimal position.
To get started, simply plug the sensor’s A/C module into an outlet in your house and position the sensor. Next, plug the WeMo Switch into a separate outlet, and plug a device like a heater, fan, lamp, or stereo into the switch.
Next, download the free WeMo app from the Apple or Android app store to your smartphone or tablet. Connect the sensor and switch to your home Wi-Fi network and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Control Devices The use of Your Smartphone or Tablet
You’ll use your smartphone or tablet to tell the sensor what to do, like have a heater turn off when you exit a room. You’ll have wireless Keep watch over wherever you go–the WeMo kit connects to mobile Internet networks so You’ll program the sensor to turn devices on or off even though you’re away from home.
Set Schedules with WeMo App
The free WeMo app makes it easy to set schedules for appliances and electronics in your house. Use your smartphone or tablet to program a lamp to turn on or off at a certain time of day.
Add Multiple Switches and Motion Sensors for Increased Control
The WeMo kit is completely modular, allowing you to Keep watch over as much or as little of your house as you like. You’ll add an additional WeMo Switch to provide Keep watch over of more areas of your home. Additionally, multiple switches can be linked to one sensor–turn on a light and heater or a set of lights at the same time with only one sensor.
