A WAVEGUIDE IS A GOOD START BUT…

The latest Quintet employs a new 90° x 90° Tractrix Horn designed to expand both placement flexibility and the main listening area, without generating excessive reflected sounds that reduce overall sound clarity. Instead of simply adding a basic tweeter waveguide like some competitive models, the proprietary Tractrix curve at the horn’s mouth functions as a more sophisticated waveguide, reducing reflections both into the main listening area and reflections back to the guide itself, for a more detailed sound with superior vocal clarity.
